Richter: Sunlight (Orchestra Version)

Beautiful. In the words of Mr Richter “Music is a catalyst for thought and reflection”.
Odpowiedź kogoś innego:
Well, this is then my thought and my reflection after listening to this excellent composition by Mr. Richter: Music is a catalyst of emotions. It is an arrow of fire that pierces our steel armor, those armors that we build after each disappointment, so that nothing and no one hurts us again. It disarms us and leaves us vulnerable again, at the mercy of our sincere emotions. And like a mirror it portrays what we are and what we would prefer not to see busy with other matters. But unlike other predators who only seek to humiliate and dominate us, music is endearing and welcoming. Shows you your truth with motherly love. If what it conveys, as is often the case with Max Richter or with my dear and missed Johann Johannsson, is a feeling of nostalgia, sadness, bitter despair for those who confront the tragic meaning of our existence, without hiding it with banal entertainment, then it helps you. to feel that you are not alone in this, that others fight your same existential struggle. And when it transmits joy and hope, to those prone to falling into depressive pits, it gives them wings to return to the fight. That is the saving character of music. It has a skeleton made up of arpeggios and counterpoints, but its soul that makes it an animated being is emotion. The one that drives its creators to compose and interpret it, and that of those who perceive its harmonious poetry. Obviously IMO.
